Our Mission

Building Tomorrow's Youth Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, EIN: 33-4340919. A nonprofit dedicated to equipping teens ages 14–19 in underserved communities with the practical financial literacy skills they need to navigate adulthood with confidence. Many young people graduate high school without ever learning how to budget, save, build credit, or make informed financial decisions- gaps that can follow them for years and are often felt most acutely in communities with fewer existing resources. We're working to close that gap through interactive, hands-on workshops that make financial concepts approachable and relevant to teens' real lives, paired with a mobile-friendly learning app that lets them continue building these skills anytime, anywhere. Our goal is simple: every teen we reach should leave more prepared, more confident, and more capable of building a stable financial future.

Our Story

Building Tomorrow's Youth was founded in 2025 after our founder spent time tutoring high school students across different school communities and noticed a stark divide, not just in academic resources, but in access to something even more fundamental: financial education. Teens in well-resourced schools often had access to programs, mentors, or family knowledge that gave them a head start on understanding money, credit, and financial planning. Teens in under-resourced schools frequently had none of that, not because they were any less capable or curious, but because the opportunity simply wasn't there. That gap became the catalyst for Building Tomorrow's Youth: a belief that every teen, regardless of the school they attend or the community they grow up in, deserves the same access to the financial knowledge that shapes their future.
